You can spend the time to learn the ins and outs, and spend additional time to stay on top of it. Of course, the more services you need, the more time you’ll need to devote to it all.

  1. You can go with a broker.
    As a broker, we have relationships with more than 350 telecom, cloud and technology management providers. If you don’t want to spend the time to learn all of this stuff yourself—but you do want some professional guidance—this can be a great solution and it won’t cost you anything because this service is compensated by the service provider. Broker model is ideal when you want to save time and money on procurement and purchasing.

  1. You can get a service management contract.
    We offer this option, which we call Telecom and Technology Service Management. In effect you can outsource all aspects of managing your telecom and technology, and though we charge a fixed fee, it’s offset by the cost savings we realize for you. Clients of course like this because they not only eliminate headaches, but their overall charges go down. It’s not for everyone, because if you’re a business with relatively simple needs, it may be overkill. But if your environment is complex, service management is ideal when you want to save time and money on ongoing management.

  1. You can go with a telecom auditor.
    Having someone review your bill for cost savings is never a bad thing, right? Unfortunately, it’s a broken model. That’s because auditors typically charge for savings that they recommend. It creates an adversarial relationship because they often want to charge you for some possible savings that you already knew about or that are not realistic for your environment.
