IQ Wired’s 1st quarter community event was donating to the Ronald McDonald house in Denver. This organization offers a home away from home to families who need to be near seriously ill children while they are being treated in area hospitals. The Denver residence has 31 bedrooms with private baths, and includes 2 kitchens, a laundry room, 5 TV lounges, dens, and indoor/outdoor play areas. The kitchens are often filled with volunteers cooking meals for the families. Our team members each brought supplies ranging from laundry soap to a Dave & Busters gift card. We received a tour of the house as well.

In addition to providing shelter for families – the charity hosts a mountain summer camp for kids with cancer and their siblings called Sky High Hope Camp. They also award college scholarships to high school seniors and grants to community groups.
